Paris Koh Fine Arts, 548 West 28th Street, Suite 328, New York City is pleased to present a solo exhibition A Breeze comes from “Meng Bana Xi”: Ting Liu.  This show will run from May 16th – 26th, 2017 with an opening reception on Thursday, May 18th from 6 to 8 pm.

Ting Liu’ s works present further evidence of how neglect for the artistic conventions of the day has become a defining characteristic of Liu's practice. The exhibition also represents her pastoral paintings depicting the landscape, portrait, and everyday life as a subject matter.
The inspiration of Liu also occurred at the time when she made an unimaginable choice of life. In China, an ancient oriental land where people tend to be too observant of conventional standards. She devotes her life to the remote place of Sino-Burmese border area in China, indulging in the world of art, and spends her life with the joy of cultivating the artistic attainment of minority students.
The work, Country Youth, Liu shows the roughness and straightforwardness of minority people in the Sino-Burmese border area come forth fully. The intense colors enable people to touch the feelings of minority people, which are accumulated after generation and generation.

Ting Liu is a painter based in China. She received her MFA from Southwest University and her BFA from Southwest Institute of Fine Arts. She continues her artistic journey by creating art works as a global artist.
