Artist Statement

Modern urbanscape is associated sometimes with losing sense of belonging. Marc Augésays, “Certain places exit only through the words that evoke them…..they are non-places, or rather, imaginary places: banal utopias, clichés.”We are often consuming romantic nostalgia in amusement park restaurants where replicated antique cars are parked.Virtual realities of theme parks guarantee for a through anonymity. These drifting and rambling spaceshaunt all over the cities.Vaguely familiar sites lead us to a dizzying cycle of déjà-vu. This heartlessly standardized space becomes a simulacrum of mutual cloning, simultaneously erasing the geographical borderlines.

The work examines the meaning of place that can reveal the hidden structure of our daily routine. We reconstitute our harsh reality in imagination. The artist watches with compassion while he captures our exhausting contemporary urban life. A life that is drifting restlessly.

Artist Statement

One of his key words will be probably“density” that quality is more important than quantity. This is based upon “creation and differentiation” as well as “production and efficiency”, triggering a sense of speed and tension. This is willing to go beyond the boundary of human emotion and life. He is demonstrating “Psychokinesis with density” to his heart`s content, while praising the human harmony between nature and machine through “a Banquet of Life”.
